OUR STORY

Useful online tools, made easier to use

ModernToolHub is an independent online project created to make everyday digital tasks simpler. The website brings together browser-based utilities, practical calculators and developer helpers in one clear, accessible place.

Who runs ModernToolHub?

ModernToolHub is operated and maintained by the ModernToolHub Editorial Team, an independent site identity used for publishing tool explanations, maintaining the website and responding to user feedback. ModernToolHub is not presented as a registered company or government service. We are not affiliated with universities, examination boards, employers, Google or other third-party services mentioned in tool explanations.

Why we built it

Many simple tasks require visitors to navigate complicated websites, install software or share information with services they do not know. Our goal is to provide focused tools with clear instructions and, where practical, local browser processing. The initial collection focuses on students, developers, image preparation, salary estimates and writing productivity.

How tools are developed and tested

Each tool should have a clear purpose, labelled inputs, understandable results and a description of its limitations. Before a tool is published, our intended review process is to test normal inputs, empty fields, invalid values, boundary cases, keyboard operation and common mobile screen sizes. Browser-only tools should be checked to confirm that data is not unexpectedly sent to our server. Calculators that depend on institutional or government rules should link to the relevant official material and identify the applicable date or tax year.

Some tools in this early website release are still being improved. We do not claim that an estimate is an official result or that every tool is suitable for every application. Always follow the current instructions issued by the relevant university, employer, exam authority or government department.

Corrections and editorial standards

Accuracy matters, especially for salary, tax and academic calculations. We aim to document assumptions, identify the source used for rule-based calculations, record when a page was last reviewed and correct reported errors. If a source changes or a calculation is found to be wrong, we will review the page and update its explanation and implementation. We welcome specific reports with the tool URL, input example and expected result, but please do not send confidential or sensitive personal information.

Privacy by design

Where a tool can work entirely in the browser, we prefer that approach so visitors do not need to upload text or files to our server. The privacy policy describes the current website setup and any third-party services that may be involved.
