Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This policy explains the current intended operation of ModernToolHub. The site operator should update it whenever hosting, analytics, advertising, cookies, forms or tool processing changes. It is informational and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified privacy professional.
Who operates this website?
ModernToolHub is an independent online project operated under the site identity ModernToolHub Editorial Team. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@moderntoolhub.com.
What information do we receive?
Tool inputs: The CGPA-to-percentage calculator, percentage-to-CGPA converter, SGPA-to-CGPA calculator, JSON formatter, image compressor/resizer, CTC estimator and word counter in this release are designed to process their inputs in your browser. These tools do not intentionally transmit the entered values or selected image to the ModernToolHub application server. Your browser and device still process the data locally.
Contact form: If you submit the contact form, the name, email address, subject and message you provide are sent by the hosting server to the ModernToolHub contact mailbox. The message may remain in that mailbox and in mail-system backups according to the hosting provider's retention practices. Do not include passwords, financial account details, government identifiers or other sensitive information.
Technical logs: The hosting provider may automatically process technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information and error logs to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website. The exact log fields and retention period are controlled partly by the hosting provider; the site operator should confirm these details in the hosting account.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is not installed in this website release. No other first-party analytics product is intentionally enabled by the supplied project files. If analytics is added later, this policy must be updated to name the service, explain the data collected and provide an appropriate consent mechanism where required before tracking technologies are activated.
Cookies and local storage
The supplied website code does not intentionally set analytics, advertising or preference cookies, and the included tools do not use localStorage to retain tool inputs. The hosting platform, security layer or browser may use technically necessary mechanisms outside the application code. If cookies or similar technologies are introduced, their purpose and controls must be documented here.
Advertising and Google AdSense
Advertising is not enabled in the current release. No Google AdSense ad code or advertising cookie code is included. If the website applies for and later activates Google AdSense or another advertising provider, the policy must be revised before ads are displayed to identify the provider, explain its use of cookies or similar technologies and link to the provider's privacy controls. Advertising must not be activated until applicable consent and disclosure requirements are implemented.
Third-party resources
The current design loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When a browser requests those font files, Google may receive technical request information such as the visitor's IP address and browser details. If you prefer not to make that third-party request, you can disable external fonts or self-host properly licensed font files. Links to external official sources are governed by the destination websites' own privacy policies.
Visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland
This release does not intentionally activate analytics or advertising tracking. If non-essential cookies, analytics or personalised advertising are introduced, the operator must assess applicable local requirements and configure a compliant consent experience before those technologies run. For Google publisher products, Google requires publishers serving personalised ads to visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Review the current Google AdSense consent requirements and Google EU User Consent Policy. Visitors should be able to make and change their consent choices. Do not treat this paragraph as confirmation that a consent platform is already installed.
India and other applicable privacy laws
We aim to collect only the information needed to operate the site and respond to messages. Privacy and data-protection obligations depend on the law in force, the operator's circumstances and the services enabled. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025 have phased commencement provisions. See the MeitY commencement notification and DPDP Rules notification. The operator should obtain qualified advice on which obligations apply at the time of launch and update this policy and processes accordingly.
How long is information retained?
Tool inputs are not intentionally stored by the supplied tool pages. Contact messages may be retained while needed to respond, handle a correction or maintain a reasonable record, then deleted when no longer needed, subject to legitimate backup and legal requirements. Server logs and email backups may follow the hosting provider's retention settings. The operator should confirm and document exact retention periods before launch.
Your privacy requests
You can contact hello@moderntoolhub.com to ask about a contact message you submitted, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Include enough information to identify the message, but do not send passwords or identity documents unless a lawful, secure verification process is provided. We will review requests under applicable law.
Children
ModernToolHub is a general-purpose utility website and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has submitted personal information may contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website adds analytics, advertising, accounts, uploads or other features. The date at the top will be revised when material changes are made.
Important owner setup and review
Before launch, the operator must create and monitor the listed contact mailbox, confirm the hosting provider's log and mail retention practices, decide whether to self-host Google Fonts, and have this policy reviewed by a qualified professional for the operator's actual business and applicable jurisdictions.
