Enter semester details
Add one row per completed semester. Enter the SGPA and total credits for that semester.
Worked example
Suppose semester 1 has SGPA 8.0 with 20 credits and semester 2 has SGPA 9.0 with 24 credits. The weighted result is (8.0 × 20 + 9.0 × 24) ÷ (20 + 24) = 8.55, rounded to two decimal places.
Frequently asked questions
Can I average SGPA values directly?
Only when the credit weighting is equal and the university's rules allow it. If semester credits differ, a weighted calculation is generally more appropriate, but your institution's official method takes precedence.
Should I round the result?
This calculator displays two decimal places. Use the precision and rounding rule stated by your university.
